Kentucky Laws & Penal Code

All laws must be followed at all times. 1 month = 10 minutes in-game. Prison time may not exceed 12 months without a court order.

Regulations
Permits Regulation

Permits may only be issued by duly elected officials, government employees delegated specific permitting powers, and judges.

Duly Elected Officials include: Governor, County Commissioners, and Mayors. In order for a government employee to have permitting powers, the permits they can issue must be listed in the written job description for that position. Licenses are a type of permit.

Right of Way Regulation

The Government has at least a 2 tile right of way adjacent to all roads, lakes, rivers, and other utility easements. Rangers and other Wildlife agencies may patrol and inspect privately owned wilderness, forests, and fishing habitats, so long as they do not interfere with the curtilage of the property. State and local officials should make reasonable efforts to keep their right of ways and easements safe and clear of growth.

State Police and other local officials still need RAS to enter your private property. Park Rangers patrol the wild and have jurisdiction over such area - if they see anything illegal they have full law enforcement capabilities.

Hunting & Fishing Seasons Regulation

The Rangers and other Wildlife agencies shall work together to establish hunting and fishing seasons for the general public. To ensure Kentucky families are able to feed themselves, at least one week out of the month needs to be open for hunting and at least one week out of the month needs to be open to fishing.

If no seasons are set in place for a month, it is assumed the first week will be open to all fishing, and the 4th week will be open to all non-prohibited hunting.

Natural Disaster Preparedness Regulation

Local agencies should make reasonable efforts to prepare for natural disasters and to aid the general public during emergencies when it is safe to do so.

Public Notary Regulation

A public notary is a legal witness to all manner of contracts. Public notaries shall be sworn in by a high ranking government official or judge after completing a notary class. Notaries are held to a higher standard than normal citizens and may suffer harsher penalties for breaking the law or their oaths. Notaries are allowed to charge a small fee for their time (typically around $50).

Non-Permitted Selling of Firearms Regulation

Unpermitted selling of firearms is illegal unless submitted to the state. Both parties must go through a background check and present photo ID to a Public Notary. The public notary must file the transaction with the date, the parties involved, the weapon(s) serial numbers, and the amount of the sale.

The notary for the transaction cannot be someone who is a party involved in the sell, lives with a person involved with the sell, related to a person involved with the sell, or employed in another capacity by a party involved with the sell.

Transparent Government Pay Act Regulation

Elected and appointed officials, including Governors, Mayors, County Commissioners, Judges, Police Chief, and other elected officials shall be paid by the state no less than $1,000 a week and no more than $2,000 a week.
