Terms of Use

1. Scope and Eligibility

• These Terms apply to website features, forums, guides, events, support tools, applications, donation systems, Discord/Steam integrations, and in-game community services operated under Kentucky Roleplay.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account details up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Community Conduct

• You must comply with all posted Community Rules, announcements, and moderation guidance.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, ban evasion, exploitation, account abuse, and cheating are prohibited.
• Attempts to disrupt services, evade moderation, or abuse automation systems are prohibited.

The Community Rules supplement these Terms. If there is a conflict, staff may enforce whichever standard better protects community safety and fairness.

3. Accounts, Verification, and Security

• Registration may include anti-bot controls and rate limits to protect platform integrity.
• You may be required to verify your email or linked identity providers (such as Discord or Steam).
• You must not share credentials or use another person's account.
• Report unauthorized access or account compromise through Support as soon as possible.

4. User Content and License

• You retain ownership of content you create (such as forum posts, character profiles, support messages, application responses, and donation messages you choose to submit).
• By posting content, you grant Kentucky Roleplay a non-exclusive license to host, display, moderate, archive, and reproduce that content for community operations.
• You must have rights to anything you upload and must not infringe others' rights.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

• Staff may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or ban accounts for violations or security concerns.
• Enforcement actions may be temporary or permanent depending on severity and history.
• Where applicable, users may appeal through the support ticket system.

6. Service Availability and Changes

• Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• Features may be modified, suspended, or removed without notice for maintenance, policy, or security reasons.
• We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of revised Terms.

7. Donations and Purchases

• Donations help support operating costs and are generally non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by third-party providers (including PayPal). Kentucky Roleplay does not store full payment card information on its own servers.
• Monthly subscription donations may recur until canceled through the payment provider.
• Donor names, gifted support events, and optional donor messages may be displayed publicly on supporter areas unless an anonymous option is selected.
• Anonymous contribution settings apply to donor-name display, but rewards granted from contributions (such as VIP tiers, badges, or roles) may still be visible in community systems and are not guaranteed to be anonymous.
• Digital perks, when offered, may be adjusted if needed for balance, security, or compliance reasons.

8. Third-Party Platforms and Links

• Community services may rely on third-party platforms such as Discord, Steam, and PayPal.
• Your use of those services is also governed by each provider's terms and privacy policies.
• We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or account actions taken by those providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kentucky Roleplay and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of community services.
