Hunting Without a Permit Hunting Infraction

In the State of Kentucky, you must contact the Sheriff's Office in order to purchase a hunting license.

Exceeding Limits on Fish & Game Hunting Infraction

In the State of Kentucky, the legal limits must be followed. Fish: a maximum of 30 fish are allowed to be kept per day, unless permits allow otherwise. Game: a maximum of 30 pieces of meat are allowed to be hunted per day unless permits allow otherwise. A person may not kill a bear unless provoked by the animal. A person may not use drugs, bear traps, netting, or other unsporting methods to kill animals.

Revoked Hunting License. $300 Fine.

Hunting Outside of Designated Hunting Times Hunting Infraction

In the State of Kentucky, hunting is only permitted from 5am to 8pm. No hunting on Sundays.

Revoked Hunting License. $100 Fine.

Hunting Under the Influence Hunting Infraction

In the State of Kentucky, hunting while over 0.08 BAC is strictly prohibited.

Revoked Hunting License. $300 Fine. 5 Months in County Jail.

Hunting in City Limits or State Parks Hunting Infraction

In the State of Kentucky, hunting outside specific hunting seasons in the state park, or anytime within city limits, is unlawful.

Revoked Hunting License. $300 Fine.
