04.27 was a pretty good day so far as things are considered, took me like five hours to set up the store and I was dead exhausted by then, but at least I got a few customers! Yay!

It was a tad lonely but I'm not doing too terribly yet, hope there'll be an event I can attend that'll lend me some good friends. Hell as cheesy as it is to say, maybe someone to cherish.

I uh, woke up on the floor. The chronic condition seems to have decided that I shall be unable to move for a good two or three hours, which was... annoying. I managed to get up from the floor after a while, gonna head to my shop to buy a bunch of crap for it, like the pans, probably some stock too. Shop's making a nice return last I saw, probably like $30-$50 yesterday from the sales if I am lucky. Will have to count the money though to know for sure.

Got to the end of the day. It was pretty fun, and I made a hefty stack of cash today, which is great. There's also been a few cuter fellas around so I might see if that leads to something, haha. In any case, I think a few more days of work and I'll get that house I want. Or, maybe I should aim bigger? The one by the river's cute, but maybe a bigger one would be better, hm.. Something to consider.

Hauled ass working odd jobs here and there, made about 1.4k in profits, though I am terribly exhausted. I want that damned house and god himself will not stop me, no matter what. So back on the grind we go, baby.

Today was rather eventful. Or, should I say, yesterday.

I was quite tired from my work, so I went ahead and got absolutely wasted in the new bar down south; I honestly don't regret it in the slightest haha. There was a brief moment where I kinda wanted to shoot my shot with one of the fellas, but I'm not gonna lie even with the liquid courage that wasn't exactly enough to get the willpower to do it. Though, I don't mind, I talked with the nice lady and her husband about businesses and baking, the lady even asked me about baking tips, which I happily obliged. Always good to see more bakers in town.

I definitively will head there again sometime soon, but not too soon, I need to recover from that wine some more haha. I drank them all out of wine which, was a bit of a surprise I'll be honest.

Anyway, today's a yoga class so I'll be attending that soon, and I'll write down some thoughts tommorow if I have any.

Wild-ass fucking day holy shit.

Wilson got stabbed yesterday. So that was fun. Had to watch them do CPR on the man on my floor after he collapsed, while that fuckass ranger did fuck-all and just was like "oi can I get a coffee?" Like, fuck off? My friend is bleeding out on the floor and you want coffee? Priorities, oh my god.

Got wasted afterwards, passed out for like an hour, went to piss in the bushes, then went back to sleep some more. I think the good folk at the yellowjack gave me a blanket, so I went to bakery and baked them a red velvet as thanks.

Gonna be throwing a sushi party at like 7-8pm, so hopefully people will be able to attend. Oh, yeah! I got insurance sorted yesterday so that's neat. Might get that second house later, once I earn more money.

Couple things happened recently.

Didn't get to do that sushi party, no one showed up unfortunately. Nor do I want to buy that second house anymore, I figured its not really necessary.

I am, however, running for mayor! I hope to win, I really want to make this city better. Fire dep's a little miffed with me despite me having permission from the Judge (who is the interim mayor I think?) to place on the external areas of government & public properties campaign posters. But that doesn't detract from my goal of making them have better equipment, and a raised minimum wage. Yeah, it's a setback, but I am still committed to my goals of betterment, transparency and equity for all of the residents.

Still need to workshop the speech for the meet n greet planned, gotta figure out how to make it more catchy. I think, maybe more americanism? Something to rile up that national spirit. I dunno, got a few ideas, and at worst, I'll just give them my draft for the speech. I think its pretty good anyway.

Either way, despite the legal threats from the BH FD, I'll press on regardless. I just hope they'll realize I want the good for them.

Oh, yeah, the suit that I came into the city with got ripped yesterday, so im pretty upset about that. Hope I can find a good tailor somewhere.

Been a bit, huh.

Been feeling pretty miserable about the election results. Like, yes, I know the polling isn't done but come on. The writing's on the wall.

Got offered a council position, but.. frankly, I dunno. Been considering just quitting everything. Not just because of the elections, just because of how.. miserable, its been? I don't know, my feelings feel pretty complicated about this place. I want it to thrive but it feels like everything just doesn't want me to give my energy to this town anymore.
