Biography
In 1978, David and his father travelled to Kentucky mainly because his father would receive a better job. Joseph paid for a good education for David, and soon he was old enough to start working. In 1986, as soon as he turned 18 years old, he took the test to be naturalized as an American.
In 1987, he started small with a convenience store in Hickman, while his father stayed in Louisville, retiring to be a book writer. In August, they went back to France for a week to look at the first French amusement park, the Futuroscope.
On the 8th of November of the same year, the Provisional IRA commits an attack in Enniskillen that injures one of Joseph's professional contacts, one of the "bad side" of the conflict.
David's convenience store burned down after the election of George H. W. Bush for president in 1989. He left Hickman and went to Ekron, where he would work as a waiter in a bar. He was living off the tips made by customers and was obligated to sleep in his car. He was also arrested for public intoxication, asking himself what he had done wrong. He still thinks he has committed no infraction against the law and is possibly inclined to drink alcohol on the streets again.
In early 1993, his wife Catori, known by the police and the press for her criminal activities, was pronounced dead while David was ashore in France playing tennis with a new Romanian friend he had made called Chleb Lupescu.
Coming back, right in April 1993, just 2 days before the fire at West Point, he had accumulated a lot of news, including the news of his wife's death, told by his own daughter, Scarlet. His father, Joseph, had just died on March 3rd from lung cancer. Scarlet would later also perish soon after David went missing, trying to flee from his own life.
After a long period of depression, David applied to become a Kentucky Park Ranger to get his life back to normal. Stability had returned to him.
Until Chleb called, David had to go back to France again, leaving everything he had just built behind him.
While in France, he actually made it as a deputy in the Chamber of Commerce in Dijon and married his wife, Marguerite.
Tragically, Dijon, being the flourishing city of France, was hit by a series of bank robberies, one of which left poor Marguerite in a deep coma, until someone pulled the plug.
After his 3-year mandate, David left Marguerite to her family, fleeing once again from everything he had just achieved, and returned to his adoptive home state, seeking a life away from his past responsibilities.
